Top Team
Hi there and welcome back to another one of my blogs. Last week on Friday, we did something called top team which included water activities. There were activities like knots and crosses, Water activities, building a tower and more. My favourite activity was the water activities because of how refreshing the water was when the water got tipped on your head. One of the water activities required your whole group. Your group would have to line up and they would get water from a big bucket and pass the water down to your teammates and then the last person in the line would tip it into another bucket. Who ever had more water meant that their team won.

Tough Kids
On Wednesday the 20th, different schools and my school went to a mud run called tough kids. Every year, Canterbury sport runs tough kids with schools. At tough kids, it was our turn to run. At first, I would not stop running until I got tired. As I was running, I saw some people from my old school and some people that I know. I saw the water and instantly dived into it. I got super wet and had no problem with it. Everyone ran for 2.6Kms while having fun. Many other people had their own way of having fun which was super fun to watch and pass by as we were running. I hope that we can do tough kids next year as well as it was very fun.
Have you ever heard of tough kids?

Korfball and Sports rotation
Hi there and welcome back to another one of my blogs. This week, we have a sports rotation and we try out other sports. The sports that we could play were Softball, Lawn ball, Cricket and Korfball.
My favourite sport that was in the sports rotation was Korfball because of the creativity. It is two sports combined pretty much but is extremely fun. In Korfball, you can't dribble the ball. Also in Korfball, both teams have to have girls and boys because in Korfball, girls can only defend girls and boys can only defend boys. The outlines in Korfball is just the perimeter surrounding the court while behind the hoop is not out. At all times, there must be 4 girls and 4 boys on the court. In Korfball, your team must choose who will be in defence and who will be on offence. Every two goals, the defence will become offence and the offence will become defence.
In my opinion, Korfball is very fun and I will look to playing Korfball in the later future.
Have you ever heard of Korfball and if so, have you ever played it?

Attitude Blog
Hi there and welcome back to another one of my blogs. This week, the teachers thought that it was time for us to learn a bit more stuff that is not school related. We learnt on how the body changes throughout our lives. This is called Puberty. The people that taught us about Puberty are from a not a profit organisation called attitude. Our teacher's name was rory and he was really funny. Whenever we would laugh at a word, he would tell us to scream and shout it. He would talk to us about how your body would change and how it would be normal because everyone goes through it. The last thing that he talked about is that people should respect themselves and their body.

Basketball Tournament
Hello there and welcome back to another one of my blogs. 2 weeks ago, I went to Hamilton for a basketball tournament with all Filipinos. Every year, the best Filipino basketball players get selected to go and represent their city and I got chosen as one of them. This year, the tournament was held in Hamilton so we had to book a flight. We stayed in Auckland and would drive down to Hamilton considering that Hamilton was on an hour drive. In the first 3 games, we won all of our games easily as we beat all the teams in scores of double digits. The next day, we returned for the finals to vs Auckland. It was a pretty close game but we beat them by 10. Our Christchurch team got so happy with the win in the finals. We got given a trophy and medals to celebrate the win.

Camp Reflection
Hi there and welcome back to another one of my blogs. In week 3, term 4, my class went to YMCA Wainui and had camp over there for 3 nights and 4 days. While we were there, we had some activities that groups of people did and we had to do them. We did activities like orienteering, coasteering, Kayaking, Search and Rescue, High Ropes, Raft Building and Outdoor living.
My Favourite Part : My favourite part was that I lvoed making new memories with other people and my friends. I loved trying out new things and enjoying them with the people in my group. I loved meeting new people and the instructors. It was fun doing all the activities but my favourite activity was probably Outdoor living or search and rescue because we learnt how to build a stretcher out od sticks. I loved outdoor living too because it taught us how to build a shelter and fire.
Something I felt that was challenging : Something that I felt that was challenging was doing high ropes because of how high I was up when I was climbing up.
Things that I'm grateful for. : I'm grateful for my family and my friends that keep me laughing. I love my family for what they've done for their family and all the sacrifices that they're made. I care for my friends because they do the same for me and they keep me happy and laughing.
Things that I learnt : I learnt how to make a stretcher out of sticks and I also found out hot to make a fire and shelter.
Have you ever gone camping?
